Last night was the final day of the Inganji Awards Edition 2 sponsored by ozone entertainment ltd and Dream Holidays. It was a special night full of fun, surprises, and big moments. Many Rwandan celebrities came, dressed in their best clothes, ready to enjoy the night. Even though the event started late and upset some people, everything got better once the show began—and it turned into a night to remember.

The event started with a red carpet where celebrities posed for photos and showed off their beautiful outfits. Fans across the country loved seeing their favorite stars shine. Some celebrities even came as couples, showing love and style.
Outside the venue, media reporters were busy interviewing popular celebrities—some of whom are usually very hard to talk to. Thanks to the awards, fans got to hear more from their favorite stars.

When the awards started, the energy in the room got even better. The winners were full of joy, and people cheered loudly. One special moment was when the comedy actor “Killer Man” won an award. The surprise came when his real father was the one to give him the award. Many people in the room were shocked and touched by this emotional moment. The father later called other family members on stage, and they all took a picture together. It showed how strong family support is in the entertainment world.

every actor who won an award took a moment to speak. Most started by thanking the Inganji Awards team for seeing and appreciating their work. But they also gave advice to other actors and stars—encouraging everyone to work together and support each other. They said if people unite and help one another, the Rwandan entertainment industry can grow and become even better.

One of the most powerful speeches came from Ngenzi, who played the lead role in the movie “Ikigeragezo cyubuzima.” He shared that he has worked in film for 24 years—and acting is his only job. He showed that it is possible to live as a full-time actor in Rwanda. His message gave hope to many others who want to follow the same path. He also thanked all his co-workers from past projects and mentioned each one by name. He told all Rwandan filmmakers to work harder and come together to create more movies. “That’s how acting will become a real job for everyone,” he said. He ended with a fun joke: “By the way, for this trophy—everyone who was nominated, drinks are on me after the show!”
